VOLUNTEER HERE!
Opportunities to get involved in the Festival of Spirituality and Peace
3 to 24 August 2008.
Lend a hand selling tickets, manning the doors and setting up and, in return, sit in on our events, meet new and interesting people from around the world, sharing food and dialogue in the heart of Scotland's capital city.

Volunteering information
Simply fill in a Volunteer Application and send it back to us by the last Friday of May (if you are based outside of the U.K.) or the last Friday of June (if based in the U.K.).
Our volunteers have in the past come from all over the world, including Slovakia, Italy, Hungary, Germany, Ghana, Mozambique and also locally. It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and be a part of the peace-making process that FoSP provides a dynamic platform for.
There is also potential to run your own event (including workshops) either individually or with others. As long as your event relates to our theme for that year (see our homepage for details), we will be happy to support you, though you must send a Workshop Application by 1 May for it to be considered. We will then include it in our printed programmes, which are distributed throughout the city.
From the second week of August, volunteers can then stay on to help with selling tickets, setting up and clearing away after events, helping out in the café and welcoming visitors. People from all ages are welcome for this. In return, you can come to any of our events for free and you will have plenty of spare time to explore the beautiful city of Edinburgh and go to a host of other shows on offer from our sister festivals, such as The Fringe.
